Chris Burton Jácome is one of the most in-demand flamenco guitarists in the U.S. Rarely is an artist so capable of touching the hearts and souls of people of all ages, cultures and diverse backgrounds. He studied flamenco in Sevilla, Spain, where he learned to accompany flamenco dance and singing from the best-known names in Spain. Chris' music is featured on the Emmy Award Winning PBS television special: Flamenco and other TV shows and feature films. Chris' song, Ritmo-Canix, from his newest album, Levanto, recently won the Grand Prize and the Lennon Award in the World Category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

Chris will be performing a solo flamenco guitar concert for the Fortuna Concert Series that will feature many of his own compositions and his mesmerizing guitar acrobatics. ¡Olé!

Concert time is 7:30 p.m. at the Fortuna Monday Club, 610 Main Street in Fortuna. Ticket prices are $10 General Admission and $8 Students and Seniors.
