Virginia Ryder Ayoob

An evening of saxophone chamber music by woodwind specialist Virginia Ryder Ayoob will include music by Japanese composer Akira Yuyama and American composer David Maslonka with accompaniment by Eugene Novotney on marimba. The program's other selections will be accompanied by Michael Walsh on classical guitar.
After earning music degrees from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Northern Colorado, Virginia Ryder Ayoob performed with the Boston Pops, the Opera Company of Boston, the Denver Symphony, the Pittsburgh Symphony, and at the Mendocino Music Festival.
All three performers are currently faculty members at Humboldt State University.
