John Milbauer

An internationally known classical pianist, John Milbauer will perform a mix of exciting classical piano music from the 18th century to American avant-garde.

John holds music degrees and certificates from several music schools including Eastman, Juilliard, and Manhattan, and has performed at many competitions and festivals. Currently director of the keyboard program at California State University, Chico, Milbauer also teaches at the Chautauqua Institute School of Music in New York. Previously, he was a piano assistant at both Juilliard and Manhattan, and was a member of the faculty at Humboldt State University.

Recent and upcoming concerto appearances include the North State Symphony and the Humboldt Symphony in California, and the Central Wisconsin Symphony.
