Gregg Moore and the Fortuna Bandemonium

Gregg Moore, after a typical upbringing on the North Coast of California and university studies in Salt Lake City, arrived in Amsterdam, Holland. For twenty years he was part of that city's vibrant and exciting music world. In 1985 he began a 10-year association with an alternative community band. This experience opened up the options to be found in the variations on the western brass band tradition around the world.

Since 2004 Gregg has been once again based in Humboldt County. Fortuna Bandemonium will audition and collect talented band musicians from Fortuna and surrounding communities to form the performing group. Two months of rehearsals are planned before presenting the exciting and varied band music of Brazil, India, Mexico, Africa, Bolivia, Peru, Indonesia and many other countries.

Be prepared for an evening of band music full of rhythm and melody like you've never heard before - a great way to start the summer!
