Returning by request to the Concert Series stage is the vocal ensemble, Slide. Slide is a group of six talented local musicians who will wrap up our 2011-12 series with a fun and lively trip down memory lane with music from the 1960's. Playing primarily acoustical instruments and singing from two to six-part harmony, Slide will take the audience back to the decade of the British Invasion and Motown. These experienced singers and instrumentalists include Gloria Gold, vocals; Michael Gibbs, vocals, piano and guitar; Ian Goble, vocals, guitar, banjo and Irish bouzouki; Roger Sanderson, vocals and bass; Aaron Souza, vocals and percussion; and Jay Byker, vocals and guitar.

If these faces look familiar but the name doesn’t ring a bell, it’s because Slide previously performed for the Concert Series in 2007 as the group then known as Glide.

Celebrate the finale of the season with the catchy lyrics, melodies and memories from the 60's.

Concert time is 7:30 p.m. at the Fortuna Monday Club, 610 Main Street in Fortuna. Ticket prices are $10 General Admission and $8 Students and Seniors.
