Wind Energy

Open your ears to a sonic world of wonder as Wind Energy converts breath into gorgeous harmonies and colorful melodies.   This woodwind quintet provides the artists with an outlet to explore new musical works and rediscover lesser known works in the repertoire.  Wind Energy consists of musicians Jill Petricca flute, Michael Kibbe oboe, Paul Cummings clarinet, Aaron Lopez bassoon, and Anwyn Halliday on horn.  The group has been working, performing, and growing artistically  together since 2015, and providing an eloquent heart to Eureka Symphony for years longer.  Wind Energy has been featured at the Trinidad Bay Art and Music Festival  (TBAM) in 2018 and 2021 and seeks to provide annual school performances for students throughout  Humboldt County.
